Rixwell Centra Hotel - Riga

The hotel had an excellent location near Occupation Museum. the staff was competent and knowledgeable and recommended a good restaurant on-site. - the breakfast was gorgeous, sensational, and with a great view.

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff friendly and helpful but thre are a few points to keep in mind. We booked a junior suite and the room was massive but the bathroom was tiny with nowhere to put toiletries etc. There was no mirror in the bedroom only a small one above the bathroom sink. There was no tea and coffee making facilities but you could request it from reception. The breakfast was quite basic but adequate. Also for a 4 star hotel there was no bar. We were there with my sister and brother in law and they booked a twin room which was 6o euros cheaper than ours their room was roughly the same size and their bathroom was a lot bigger than ours the only thing wehad extra was bathrobes .

A very nice hotel right in the heart of the Old Town. Beautiful and comfortable rooms and good breakfast.

The breakfast here offers fantastic choices including sausages, champagne, and tasty local dishes.

Great location, right next to a Gothic church. Nice walk to train station, 15 mins.

I can definately recommend Hotel Centra. The room was spacious and comfortable. Right in the heart of the old town. We were on the 5th floor, so the busy street with restaurants opposite to the hotel did not bother us. It was 30 C when we visited Riga, so the aircondition was definately necessary!

Unfortunately we had party people staying next to us... The hotel staff dealed with them when we complained, but you could hear everything from the next room. Another thing that bothered was that there was no fresh bread in the breakfast buffet (only toast etc) - one would expect that from a 4 star hotel.

The hotel offers delicious breakfast with a fantastic view, stylish and clean rooms with comfortable beds, and satisfying breakfast options.

Comfortable quiet room - bed was very comfy. I really enjoyed a stylish decor. Overall the service was good. Location: the hotel was near the historic center, Close to restaurants, and bars, clubs and football bars and Irish bars with music and noise until 3-4AM. It was next to Niklavs Restaurant, where you can have dinner.

Hotel stuff is very frendly

Delicious breakfast with pancakes, sausages, and potatoes - it was fantastic! We found a really good restaurant 🍽️ with lots of dining options.

I recently stayed at Rixwell Centra Hotel for a weekend getaway. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Old City, close to all the attractions and restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised when I was upgraded to a beautiful room with excellent sound isolation and an outstanding view. The price for two double rooms was unbeatable for a four-star hotel. The breakfast spread was extensive, including champagne, and the staff were friendly and helpful. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I do recommend this hotel.

Riga was fantastic and Hotel Centra was perfect in every way. Generous room - we got upgraded - efficient staff, lovely design, great breakfast.

The staff were fabulous. The hotel is centrally located with clean large rooms and a large modern bathroom.

Unfortunately, this hotel is located directly opposite the Steak Haos which blasts out loud music until very late in the evening. Despite wearing ear plugs I was unable to get any sleep at all and this was a Monday night so I can't imagine how bad it would be on the weekends. It's a pity that the Steak Haos is destroying what would be a fabulous place to stay.
